Penny Pierce Baisley

Penny Pierce Baisley of Peekskill,NY and formally a resident  of Buchanan died on January 9, 2024. She was 70 years old. Penny was born in Peekskill, NY to Charles “Hatchie” and Harriet Chester Pierce on July 29, 1953. She was a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School. Penny worked for the Village of Buchanan for 35 years in which 15 of those years she served as the Village Clerk. Penny was  a very athletic person who enjoyed running, softball, tennis and playing golf. She was also a competitive Ice skater. Penny served on the admittance committee at the Lakeview Towers in Peekskill. Penny is survived by her husband Michael Baisley, several cousins and many friends. Besides her parents, Penny was predeceased by her brother Gary C. Pierce in 2015. Visitation will be on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home. A prayer service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
